  • What made you do it?
    I’d been following Salon Brazyl on Instagram for a few months based on a post/referral from a fellow tapered natural. After reviewing several IG videos and checking out the website content—I took note that, basically all of the women who left her chair had healthy, juicy, enviable curls. Based on the results, I wanted to book a consultation to address the dryness and lack of definition when I wash & go. I decided on a Virtual Consult because the “face-to-face” helped me better communicate and provide a real time look at my hair.

    What did you get out of it/how did it made you feel?

Her work: Ahead of her time, she started beauty school at 15 years old and progressed quickly, winning awards as “best cosmetology student.” She immediately earned the opportunity to become a salon assistant at a busy local salon and earned her cosmetology license after graduation. Her resume includes: Educated by elite schools like Vidal Sassoon Santa Monica and Redken Artist training. This quality education lead her creative talents to work with an Ulta Salon Team, Salon Rik Rak Brickell – Miami, Chi Farouk hair team for Miami Fashion Week, legendary artists of Maybach Music Group. Her own salon – Salon Brazyl and an educational platform Curls and Texture University complete her triple – A career path, thus far.

 

Why she’s influential: Her signature curl defining salon package – The Wash and Go Experience and her progressive salon education event for curly hair professionals Wash and Go Brunch catapulted her to notable among other influential salon pros. Her visibility on social media has allowed her to build professional salon brand relationships with her platform.
